You think we're devolving into people with short tempers?

"Og raised an eyebrow and gazed interestedly at Zurg. 'Zurg' he said, 'Why you poke Og in eye with sharp stick? You not know it better to rationalize and talk like civilized cavepeople talk?" Zurg proceeded to poke Og again, this time harder and in the belly. 'Zurg take woman. Zurg take cave and woman. Zurg take cave and woman and dog and that meat on spit over there. You go now or Zurg poke again.'

Og pondered this for a second or two.

'But Zurg, then I wouldn't have a woman and cave and meat and dog would I? Let's see if we can come up with a mutually beneficial agreement that would...AAAARRGH!'

'You talk much, but now Zurg have your things. You lay and bleed for awhile, but then you got to leave Zurgs cave.'"

I wouldn't say we're DEvolving into short tempered idiots. We just don't change as much as we think.
